Just imagine piping hot plates of steaming Pierogies served on a bed of cabbage noodles or even Sauerkraut. These wonderful traditional Polish foods can be found in a great restaurant in Pittsburgh.

The restaurant which you want to find is the Bloomfield Bridge Tavern and they are located at 4412 Liberty Ave. They are the home of the best tasting Polish food in the Pittsburgh area and their food is part of the reason why they are known as the Polish Party House.

The other element to them being known as the Polish Party House is the live entertainment that they have. These bands take to the stage several nights a week and the schedule can be found on their website. Just follow the links. Who doesn’t love to go out and eat great food, listen to some good music and wash it all down with a glass of vodka or a cold beer? If you check out the Bloomfield Bridge Tavern website you will also discover that they offer beer specials on some nights too. This makes going out to eat even more affordable.

If you have never tried homemade Pierogies then you just have to eat at the Bloomfield. You can sample a small order or try a larger platter and share it with your friends. Either way you will be spending less than $10 to eat a fantastic home cooked meal. Feeling more adventurous? Then sample Czarnina or Gotabki, in English these are known as Duck Soup and Stuffed Cabbage and are healthy menu choices.

If it is cold outside then you may prefer a big steaming bowl of hot chili, the Bloomfield’s specialty here is Stanley’s Chili and will leave you feeling warm and satisfied. Potato pancakes are served with applesauce here and another must to try.

Chicken wings, lightly breaded chicken fingers and steaks are also offered on the menu. Along with homemade grilled cheese sandwiches and delicious French fries, these foods are all reminiscent of home cooking and will bring back lots of family memories.

It really doesn’t matter what you fancy to eat for dinner. The possibilities are endless at the Bloomfield Bridge Tavern. You are sure to find something to satisfy your taste buds. You will go home feeling full and happy that your bill for the night was really affordable. Isn’t that what we all want?
