Avoiding teacher burnout is always a problem on the side of our instructors. And who would not? Considering the amount of workload they are up every day while handling different students, it is not surprising that at the end of the day, they tend to be exhausted and stressed. But hey, you may be able to fight it easily now by simply eating your way out.
Yeah you heard that right. Food can effectively combat stress. And it's not really a bad thing to eat when you're in this situation. In fact, if you put in the right food in your mouth and in your system, it can certainly help you. Thus to identify the right foods when anxiety strikes in, here are our suggestions.
Food 1: Almonds, Pistachios and Walnuts. These foods are actually suggested to be taken. No matter if you're stressed or just simply nibbling on some appetizers, these are among the recommended choices. As such, they contain vitamin E which is an antioxidant that can boost our immune system. Almonds have B vitamins that help your body cope with unpleasant circumstances. To keep your heart in its slow pace amidst the tension, better take pistachios or walnuts.
Food 2: Avocados. This is actually a fruit that is good and versatile. In fact, simply by eating it can dramatically reduce and minimize your emotions frantic. Moreover, it can also easily satisfy your cravings for food. It contains monounsaturated potassium that can help lower blood pressure. Thus, it is the best way to reduce it as supported by studies by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute. Its potassium content is way higher than a medium banana. In addition, you can serve the said fruit in various ways and delicacies that you want.
Food 3: Skim milk. Milk is undoubtedly a drink that has proved its worth and usefulness through the years. As such, it has been shown that warm milk can cure insomnia and agitation. It was noted that calcium may actually reduce muscle spasms and relieve tension in our body. It may even reduce symptoms of PMS as stressful mood swings, stress and irritability. So if you happen to experience stress simply drink a glass of warm skim milk.
These are just some foods that are fully available and can be used safely and eaten by a person suffering from stress. As such, if you happen to be in anxiety, it would be better to take some of these in order to contain your feelings and moods and transforming it into something positive. Thus, you can now truly say that avoiding teacher burnout can indeed be done deliciously.
