Any good restaurateur knows that there are certain key elements to running a good business. You must serve great tasting food and provide your customers with full value for their money. When you include some extras such as live entertainment and friendly staff you know you are on your way to running a successful business.

A good menu is crucial and offering your guests lots of choices will keep even the pickiest eater happy. There is one restaurant that has found all the right ingredients and has combined them into a popular restaurant. This restaurant is the Bloomfield Bridge Tavern in Pittsburgh.

One great thing about this restaurant is that they have managed to keep their prices low. Currently no menu item is priced at over $10. This is perfect for anyone wanting to dine out on a budget.

Offering Polish style foods is one thing that has helped make this restaurant so popular. Pierogies are of course the number one item on the menu. Because of their popularity the Bloomfield offers all of their Pierogies at half price on Friday and Saturday nights. To take advantage of this pricing special you will need to eat between five and seven in the evening.

Other traditional Polish fare is also offered and this includes great dishes like Duck Soup and stuffed cabbage. Other popular items are homemade noodles with cottage cheese and plate loads of Kielbasa, which by the way tastes great by itself with nothing but mustard.

Music is another key element to the success of the Bloomfield Tavern. Tuesday nights are now known as Open Mic night and this draws a huge crowd. The action begins at 9pm and each week has a featured band that kicks off the show. They play for 30 minutes straight and then any other band gets to play.

Open Mic night is great for allowing new bands to play in front of a live audience. By attending one of these events you never know but you might get to see the latest group from Pittsburgh. On other nights the Bloomfield has additional live bands that play and this provides customers with entertainment for other nights.

The Bloomfield restaurant is popular because they combined good food, music and great prices together. This mix appeals to lots of people and is why they can draw good crowds on any given night.
