The Vidbot platform for building your own video site certainly looks amazingly simple to use with push button technology that allows even novices to install the software.
The designers boast that their software will help companies to draw a daily revenue of some $500 with their software. However, these claims should be taken with a pinch of salt. The earnings are only as good as the affiliate programs a company has chosen and as good as their overall content on their videos. Products that can be embedded in the videos – the Vidbot review uses Amazon as an example – are only successful, if the Amazon products chosen are already a hit with the internet buying public and if the products in the video are replaced on a frequent basis.

The work involved in keeping the sites up-to-date is not to be underestimated. Driving traffic to a site is time consuming. Smaller companies simply do not have the resources to pay for a dedicated member of staff who performs these tasks every day.

Companies like Vidbot software promise a lot of money per day but this is only achieved when a site already has a large number of regular visitors. Google AdSense and Amazon are also quite picky in whom they approve for their affiliate programs, so if a company is unsuccessful in getting the biggest internet advertising revenue streams on board, they are unlikely to make $500 per day – or even $50 per day, if they are left with smaller affiliate revenue streams.

The software does have many excellent features such as being able to link one’s video website with one easy click to the affiliates and this is certainly a Vidbot bonus.
The overall success of the software will depend as much on the experience in strategic internet marketing of the people who create their video site, as on the content they produce since people don’t just click on any old video – they want content that interests them and only when they find a site that has good and interesting content on a regular basis will they become frequent visitors who will click through and buy products from the site’s affiliates.
If you are experienced at internet affiliate marketing you will no doubt reap benefits from this software in the long run, but niche players should be realistic to the amount of revenue they can achieve.
