7 Tips for Using PLR Articles for Better
Article Marketing Campaigns

Articles that you can use in your article marketing campaigns can easily be obtained in the form of private label rights (PLR). If you have been involved in Internet marketing for some time, then you have probably grabbed some at some time in your downloading of materials. Another way to get them is to purchase them from PLR Web sites or PLR article clubs’ Web sites. Here are 7 tips about how you can use those PLR articles to your best advantage with article marketing.

1. Get Quality Articles

One of the best reasons to get PLR articles in the first place is to save time. You save time because you do not have to do the research, or write it, and then edit it. If you start out with a quality article in the first place, all you need to do is rewrite it and then give it a quick editing. You should also add a little something to the article, too, that would make it stand out a little - make it unique.

2. Choose Keywords Carefully

Before you edit your PLR article, however, you want to know what keywords you need to focus on for the article. Make your article do your marketing for you by narrowing your keywords down to the select customers you want. If you use keywords that are too generic, it will bring you traffic - but it may not bring you customers.

3. Rewrite Them Completely

While some suggest that all you need to do is to rewrite a paragraph or two, you are better off rewriting the whole thing. This will create a totally new article and you will be free from risking duplicate content penalties from Google.

Be sure to give it a new title, one that will make people want to click on it. Titles are extremely important and should also promise to do something for the reader - like this one that promises better article marketing campaigns.
4. Build an Effective Bio Box

The rest of the article should be largely informative. Advertise little in it because most article distributors and others will not accept your article if it is a big advertisement. The bio box, however, is different. You can advertise there. Write your bio with your advertisement in it but keep it brief and make it so that people will want to see what you have to offer.

5. Link To Appropriate Page

As you get ready to rewrite your PLR articles, know what page you are going to link your article to. If you have a special offer, then link directly to that page. Work to presell rather than sell, though, on the page where they are directed.

6. Post Articles Selectively

Avoid going to every article distributor and posting there. This may only prove to make your article marketing campaign just so much wasted effort. Instead, focus on posting your articles on high traffic Web sites which will also increase your own Web site’s page rank. If you are going to use it in ezines or forums, go for those that are the most popular. You do not have time to put it in all of them anyway, focus on where it will do the most good. Besides, if your article is really good, it will become viral and people will be posting it everywhere.

7. Repeat Regularly

It is a real good idea to watch the traffic statistics that each article brings to your Web site. Alter your keywords some with each article, as well as your topics and keywords. In other words, be sure to do some experimenting to see what type of article and keywords people most readily respond to in your PLR article marketing efforts.

Keep on writing more good articles from your PLR assortment. The more articles that you have out there the more traffic it will bring. Maybe its time to find some more PLR articles for sale.
